Scenario - Lesson 1

Scenario
Aims: Understanding the distance between e-twinning schools, understanding purposes of using one, common language , showing importances of learning English to international communication, learning English names of countries of e-twinning schools (Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland), learning a game “Hello, Hello”, creating an e-twinning corner in our classroom.

Aids: Flags of e-twinning schools countries made by children, a ribbon, a toy-car, a map of Europe.

Procedure:
1. Finding countries Bulgaria, Spain, Poland, Romania, Portugal on the map. Marking distances between Poland and particular countries using ribbon. Traveling by toy-car on the map.
2.Talking about languages which are used in countries of e-twinning schools. Listening to fragments of songs in Spanish, Romanian......
Conclusion: we have to speak one language which is used by children in countries of e-twinning schools (English language).
3. Learning English names of countries of e-twinning schools and revising them. Learning phrases “ I’m from Poland, I’ m from.....”.
4.Getting to know the game “Hello, Hello”.
Children are standing in a circle they are hold flags of countries of e-twinning schools and the flag of Poland, which are made by themselves. One child in the middle of the circle begins the game. The child says or sings “Hello, hello I’m from Poland; hello, hello I’m from Poland and you?”(we begin with our own country). The child changes place with his friend and then next child comes into the circle and starts to skip and sing “Hello, hello I’m from Spain, hello, hello I’m from Spain.. ( it depends on the flag of the country that particular child holds).
We played this game both in Polish and English.
The English teacher took part in that lesson.
